Some of the highlights and projects initiated by On the Verge groups include:

• Organizing the first Town Hall Meeting to take place in the McPherson Neighborhood, marking the beginning of the McPherson Neighborhood Initiative
• Launching the Reach Institute for School Leadership, which coaches, develops and credentials teachers and educational leaders
• Restructuring McPherson Elementary School’s curriculum by incorporating the arts and science
• Building a Community Garden Project, designed and implemented by the community itself.  
• Developing and launching a Family Resource Center in the McPherson Neighborhood.
