Supporting Growth Towards Excellence in Classroom Leadership

The Reach Professional Teacher Induction Program is a partnership with |
This program will support new teachers, over the course of two years
following completing the requirements for a Preliminary Credential, to
move their practice from competent to exceptional. Through a partnership with the New Teacher Center at the University of California, Santa Cruz, the program will lead to a Professional Clear Credential. The program emphasizes personalized and job-embedded coaching. At the same time, the Reach Professional Teacher Induction Program will connect new teachers to a community of new and experienced educators through a cohort model. The sense of isolation new teachers feel is one of the leading causes of teachers leaving the field.
